~ A journey of resilience involves taking risks to preserve a life of respect, trust, compassion and intelligent community.
Many times, for days, I have tried to write this ~ one last call concerning leadership. I have started paragraphs and pages – crossed out and thrown out – started over again & again – attempting to write my insistent truth without insulting or hurting. This blog has for years been titled Journey of Resilience, discovering and defining a positive path….yet I keep arriving at one simple thought; the only possible last piece of a long intense conversation. I ask you to share this as part of your personal conversations during the next few weeks. ~
PLEASE DO NOT VOTE FOR D. TRUMP. ~IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE for me TO RESPECT OR TRUST ANYONE WHO DOES. IF THIS IS YOU, OR SOMEONE YOU ARE CLOSE TO, please don’t tell me. Please CONTINUE TO SEARCH YOUR HEART & MIND FOR WHAT YOU KNOW TO BE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF ALL.
Vote for anyone else ~ or no one. It is beyond comprehension among intelligent, compassionate human beings and hundreds of respected global leaders that an individual, such as Trump, -a vulgar, angry, intolerant, narcissist, fascist, misogynist, racist, anti-philanthropist – could be rewarded with the most powerful and honored office in the world! This individual could be the leader of our country, of the free world, and the representative of all Americans?
IF TRUMP IS ELECTED. WE WILL ALL BEAR THE RESPONSIBILITY AND THE BURDEN OF GUILT, FOR NOT HAVING DONE ENOUGH TO STOP HIM.
