Harvesting Winter Light

“The true harvest of my daily life is somewhat as intangible as the tints of morning….

or of evening….

It is a little stardust caught, a segment of the rainbow which I have clutched….” THOREAU

“Tolerant like the sky, all-pervading like sunlight, firm like a mountain…..radiant….Let it be present in the universe and the universe will sing.”  From The TAO TE CHING (Stephen Mitchell, trans.)

A world arrives new every moment, every morning and evening. We may choose to embrace it, or not; honor it, listening and mindful….or not. What will our new gift of this new year open before us? What intentions will our choices support? What inspiration will we breathe in and out, giving and receiving, grateful?
